We inform, enlighten, and engage audiences through presentation of thought-provoking literature, what we term “useful theatre” or “Teatro Útil.” Furthermore, we seek to engage the Latino community in a variety of theatre-based activities to empower and integrate its members through these artistic expressions.
Over our six years, we have produced eight mainstage productions, a performance piece, two reader’s theatre presentations, produced major concerts, curated a Latino arts “pop-up”, and have provided arts education for Latino elementary and middle school students. We are an integral part of the region’s rich Latino culture.
